Today we start reviewing for the CH 4A Test. This test will be on Friday.
The CH 4A Test will cover Sections 4.1 – 4.4
- Write the general solution of a differential equation and use indefinite integral notation for the antiderivative.
- Use basic integral rules to find antiderivatives.
- Find a general and particular solution to a differential equation.
- Use integration to solve falling body problems.
- Be able to use sigma notation.
- Approximate the area of a region using rectangles.
- Find the area of a region using limits.
- Understand the definition of a Riemann sum.
- Evaluate a definite integral using the area of known geometric shapes.
- Approximate a definite integral using the Trapezoidal rule.
- Approximate a definite integral using the Midpoint rule.
- Evaluate definite integrals by using the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
- Find the average value of a function.
- Understand and use the Second Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
